Inner Mongolian Andesine Threads

At the Tucson Gem Shows in 2012 a discussion panel was held by the major players supporting the existence of a Tibet andesine mine and an Inner Mongolian andesine mine. This included claimed expedition leaders to those mines: Dr. Abduriyim and Richard W. Hughes. During this panel discussion, specimens were provided to attendees that were reported by those holding the discussion to be natural, untreated specimens from the claimed mine locations and the claimed expeditions. This included the Inner Mongolian mine that has been touted as the source of the diffusion treated red Tibet andesine.
We have conducted a thorough investigation into the surface areas of these specimens provided by Abduriyim and Hughes and found some profoundly disturbing results. Results that point to serious problems with the claims made by the reported expeditions and the credibility of those who participated. Who are the perpetrators and who are the victims? Who knew what was going on and who went along for the ride trusting their tour guides? If these specimens are presented as natural, untreated specimens of the mines based on these expeditions, then someone has to know the truth about what we found. Who is it? Who is aware of this fraud and is trying so desperately to hide it that they are making such foolish mistakes as to hand out these obviously treated specimens. Or are they just gullible victims being played by bigger perpetrators higher up the ladder?
Due to the size of the report we have provided this via PDF file available for your review. The findings are part of a larger study we are conducting on these Abduriyim/Hughes supplied specimens. We believe the images speak for themselves. However, in order to get a final and binding end to this whole fiasco we have also commissioned an independent scientific study using a Scanning Electron Microscope that will follow this report.
We urge everyone to read this report carefully. We also urge you to read the reports coming out from the Jewelers Ethics Association regarding some excellent geological research being done by that group in general, and Geologist Roni Poteat in specific.
The findings are profound. The results are unsavory and speak very poorly to the current state of this industry and those who tout themselves as the industry "authorities".
We will let the gemstones and the evidence they provide speak to the issues.
This is the first in a series of what we hope will be the final reports on this subject.
But then again...how many times have we all said that before.....?
